Hi- just wondered if anyone had experienced anything similar to what's happening with me right now !! Was admitted to hospital last week as thought I was losing fluid (only slightly). They subsequently found I have too much fluid. I have a scan in 2 weeks to measure fluid again and I imagine to Check the baby more closely. I had a GDT yesterday so just waiting fir the results from that. Aside from being petrified something is wrong with my baby , I literally feel like I'm going to pop. I am SO uncomfortable it's ridiculous. I struggle to get up, turning over in bed is a mammoth task, my heartburn is through the roof, my bump is HUGE and I generally feel like I'm due. Has anyone experienced this ? If so what happened ? I just can not see me hoping full term at this rate as I can't see how my body can take any more stretch. I'm 27+1 X

Yes, I think it is called polyhydramnios (?) Enormous bump, baby who wouldn't settle in one position - sometimes transverse, breech etc, hospitalisation at times during the pregnancy......but that was 10 years ago now and she arrived safely, just three days early, with no complications (and is the loveliest girl!) Good luck - I remember it as a very stressful time - I hope it all works out well for you.
