Hi all,

Just having a bit of a panicky flap (isn't anxiety wonderful!) as my DS is 7 1/2 weeks old and I've had no period as of yet and no indication that AF may be rearing her ugly head!

Thing is, I'm now desperately flapping that I may already be pregnant again. This is absolutely ridiculous as we've only done the deed 3 times since DS was born and each time we've used a condom. But I had some rather awful stomach cramps, as though I'd done a million crunches one day last week which stopped me walking properly and I've felt sick the last couple of mornings. Anxiety me has convinced myself that I'm pregnant despite sensible me knowing that can't be the case!

Just looking for some reassurance that there is still time for AF to show. When did your periods return after DC1?

I think my period took a good 5 or 6 weeks to come back once the post pregnancy bleeding stopped, which took a good couple of weeks. My DD was FF from 3 days old. Sorry I cant be more specific but it was almost two years ago!! The best thing to do would be to put your mind at rest and do an early clear blue pregnancy test, I highly doubt you are though! Your body is having readjust hormone levels so it takes a little while for your cycle to start again, I found my first period was extremely heavy as my body was readjusting! I'm sure all is OK xx

I didn't have any periods for 2 years after my twins were born.

Do a test just be sure though.

Thank you ladies, that's really helpful! Smile I'm a nightmare honestly. I know me and I'd be thinking I could be pregnant again even if I'd been wearing a bloody chastity belt ever since labour :') Flowers
