2 positives and many negatives

Hi, I'm so confused. Last Monday I did a positive pregnancy test after an absent period. Since then I've had many negatives Inc one with the same brand. Then two days ago I got another positive on the same brand, and two negatives since. What the hell is going on?

You really need to use your first pee of the day and as hard as it sounds, hold off on the testing for a couple of days. Let the HCG build up and then test again first pee in the morning and use a pink dye test like a First Response or Superdrug own brand as they're renowned for being some of the most sensitive and reliable. Just one test. False positives generally don't occur because if you're pregnant you have the hormone in your pee that the test looks for and if you're not, you don't.

If you still get a negative, go to the doctors and explain the situation. You could be pregnant and not have much HCG which does happen some women produce more HCG more early than others, you could have experienced/be experiencing a chemical pregnancy or miscarriage (although please let's hope that isn't the case and a positive two days ago after some negatives would make this a much less likely possibility) or it could be a completely separate medical issue.
