Strange question... does your tummy always go rock solid when having contractions? I've had recurrent pains for 2/3 days now, lower back and all over tummy; coming maybe every 15 minutes and lasting about 30 seconds but my tummy isnt going solid with them theyre really uncomfortable/painful. Was monitored at hospital the other day and they said they didnt think they were contractions but they didnt check my cervix or anything. I feel really not myself; im convinced that its early labour but i dont wanna keep going back to hospital or anything if theyre just gonna keep sendin me home

I can't remember. Id ring your maternity unit and ask them their advice.

Generally your tummy would go tight and if it's a regular patern then yes it might be labour
