Phlegm at night

I am finding it hard to sleep at night but the most annoying symptom is loads of mucus/phlegm in my throats and I just can't shift it. I wake up gagging or making snoring noises because of it. It feels like I am drowning. I've read online that it is common and lots of people suggested lemon juice in water, which I tried but it gave me awful acid reflux!! Does anyone else suffer and have they found a solution? X

I seem to suffer from this all the time :-( it's worse first thing in the morning, I've nearly been sick the past few mornings. Eagerly awaiting some helpful responses! X

Oh no! Do you have it all day too? Maybe I don't notice it as much during the day as I am drinking/eating/swallowing. It makes me gag too. It's so gross!!
