Both me & my partner are self-employed so I don't think we're entitled to any financial support during what would otherwise be maternity leave - can anyone advise? Also, we rent a commercial work/live property so would this mean that we can't claim any benefits or support? Sorry not to who to ask on this so any advice would be appreciated.

Have you liked into maternity allowance? I know a couple of self-employed women who have recieved it but I'm not completely sure of the criteria...

I'm se and assume I will get maternity allowance - instead of 6w of 90% pay and smp we should get 9mths of £138? A week

As long as ni is up to date and worked 26w in the last year
