Miscarriage during IVF

I Would like to know if anyone else has suffered with these symptoms. I started IVF in July, my first round, had 2 good eggs, 1 managed to survive and I had my 7 1/2 week scan to show a healthy heart beat. I continued IVF process (taking my injections and steroids). At nearly 12/13 weeks I noticed something wasn't right and it was confirmed that the baby had stopped growing at 7 1/2 weeks however due to the IVF treatment my body still thought I was pregnant. I decided to take to tablet to bring on the miscarriage (which only now I realise didn't work). The last 4 weeks I have been suffering with really bad headaches and have not felt myself, doctors don't know what it is and have put it down to tension headaches due to what I have been through. However 2 days ago I started having really bad period pains and what I can only describe as passing the miscarriage. Has anyone had the same thing or suffered with these headaches as a result of a miscarriage? Only it's really worrying me that there may be some else wrong. I've never been one to suffer with headaches even when having periods.

I had awful migraines with my miscarriages. What you've been through sounds absolutely awful, OP FlowersFlowers. I wouldn't worry too much, but speak to your GP or a specialist if you're really concerned - you don't want to have the worry of the headaches lingering after everything else. Hopefully they will ease once the bleeding stops; that's what happened for me.

I'm sorry you are going through this. I also miscarried my first IVF pregnancy. It wouldn't be surprising if all the hormone changes gave you headaches. I got one terrible migraine early on in each pregnancy. I hadn't suffered from them since puberty. I also got regular mild headaches around the end of the first tri in my pregnancy that worked. I rarely get headaches usually but I think headaches in pregnancy are pretty common.
