Breech baby-do you feel it turn?

So am currently 34 weeks and baby was breech at my last appointment, am desperately hoping it turns as want a homebirth...every time I feel I'm pretty sure the head is still up, but it could definitely be a bum instead!!

At this stage do you definitely feel the baby turn, or can you just mistake this for normal kicks etc? Is it a massive movement that is totally different to anything else? Baby is pretty active and moves a lot, so I'm not sure!

When dd turned (at around 36 weeks) it was a very unusual movement so i knew she was turning.

I would of thought you would be able to feel it

My baby turned at 38 weeks from head down and engaged to transverse. I felt uncomfortable in the night when she turned and then it was obvious the next morning something had happened as I was so uncomfortable and could not move. So it felt different but I could t have told you why until I saw the midwife a couple of days later.

Have you been to the spinning babies website?

A lady at my hypnobabies class felt her baby turn at 34 weeks or so; she said her bump went flat in front and lots of wiggly movement far to one side made it obvious something was happening.

I had a transverse baby but was completely oblivious to the fact until the midwife cottoned on at 10 days overdue. That resulted in a section!

I had a breech baby, he was breech from the first time they checked. He almost turned once, can't remember which stage but yes, you will know I think! I had an elcs, it was fine.

I definitely felt DS1 turn as there was an obstetrician turning him at the time so that probably doesn't count. DS2 turned from breech to cephalic at somewhere between 33 and 35 weeks but I couldn't have told you when. I have a long torso with lots of room for manoeuver though so maybe I was just lucky.

DD1 did some weird moves but then got stuck in breech, she constantly kicked really low down, felt like a foot was about to boot its way out of an undignified place!
