Third DC - you'd think I know what the score is!

Ive been feeling odd all day. Up really early and in pain when walking as baby definitely dropped.

Pain in back and low in front has continued- the relief and pressure of a warm radiatior can not be underestimated. The pressure is immense. I have had a few weird sensations in my stomach- life a shift in him which has made me windy so lots of groans but no upset stomach (had that yesterday! )

This afternoon felt sick Different than my normal reflux. Made it to bathroom and 20 minutes later of being sick violently I've rang partner to ask him to collect children as i can't do school run and come home.

Slept for a bit bit not restful 36wks+1. Tightenings were coming regularly whilst curled up in bed.

Since getting up tightenings - well awareness of them eased as dealing with children . Very keen to get them to bed and they've started again but not the same intensity.

Sent OH out as planned- only 10 mins away. He was doing my head in stressing about sorting children! Want peace and quiet!

Any words of advice?

Ring your maternity assessment unit, they might want to check you over as you're not quite full term.

Thank you. I'm really loathe to call as would mean quite a journey to hospital who i still have birth trauma from at this time of night.

Plus evoking our emergency childcare would be so tricky for false alarm.

My partners reminded me i was like this for weeks with our daughter. Awesome!

I have supervisor of midwives coming tomorrow for a home birth assessment and scan tomorrow too. Thinking if i go to bed and can't sleep then yes time to call.

How did you get on? im 35+3 and feeling something that im sure is very early labour! Woke up yesterday feeling really crap, nauseous, back ache, period cramps, a general feeling of being not quite right. went to maternity unit last night and they said they think its irritable womb but they didnt do an internal or anything so i dont actually know anything for sure! This is my first baby but im convinced im in the early stages of labout as the pains and uncomfortableness is still there.
