Bah! Having felt sick but without throwing up through Nov and Dec I've been feeling great since Xmas, until this morning, when I was sick before work. I guess I should thank my lucky stars that I've got almost to 19 weeks without, but not a good end to the week. Hope it's just a temporary thing, maybe because I was more tired than usual and because clearing up cat vomit?

Hello Jamantha,

I got ms really badly in my first trimester. It eased up a bit after that, but I still get bouts of it now even at 34 weeks!

I find that, like you say, it's much worse when I'm tired. And yes, strong smells can also set it off.

(And I still throw up when I clean my teeth of a morning!)

Load of people have recommended things to me, the usuals like ginger etc. But tbh the only things that help me are getting more rest, and - how strange is this? - the smell of toilet duck!

It could just be the v&d bug that's doing the rounds, rather than m/s...
