I'm 35 weeks and yesterday me and my partner got into a lift and it was only a small lift at his aunties flats and there was a huge mirror in the lift and I looked in the mirror (as you do) and standing beside my partner I noticed I looked very white compared to him. Now in the summer we were both fairly tanned from our holiday but he works outside so gets a better tan than me anyways but of course it's winter now and my tan will be fading by it seams to have faded super quick and I look very white! And I said to him oh wow I look like a ghost look at my skin colour compare to yours and he was quite shocked and asked if I felt ok?? I did feel ok just the usual sluggish feeling. My midwife took my blood last 2 weeks ago but nobody has rang me to say anything showed up. Is it normal to be so pale in the end?

Give her a call if you can to find out results. I had mine done end if October and it came back "low" but she said fir pregnancy was actually fine. Someone stopped me in the street the other day and said I looked anemic and it worried me but I don't feel overly tired or dizzy so I let the comment go. Although I got dh to take a picture of me with my boys yesterday and I looked dreadful he said I was just being self critical

Pregnancy can affect your melanin levels I think? So that might be the reason.
