Though I was miscarrying but maybe not?

I posted yesterday so sorry if this seems a bit repetative.

I was 5+1 yesterday - have had 2 miscarriages at 5+4 in the past.

I had some spotting which quickly turned into proper bleeding with strong cramps and back ache - very similar to previous miscarriages.

However, bleeding since yesterday afternoon has been quite light - more pink/brown and watery with absolutely no cramping. I've passed very little if any tissue (sorry tmi) whereas last time I distinctly remember lots of clots passing.

Obviously without seeing the doctor I won't know but I wondered if perhaps I've been a bit quick to assume a miscarriage? Even my normal period would last longer and be heavier than this.

I'm going to take another test tomorrow - I only got a positive on the superdrug early indicator tests - the other tests I tried were all negative. Will also phone the gp on Monday for an appointment to get hcg levels checked.

I've sort of accepted that it's over but maybe not?

I had bleeding like that through to ten weeks this time. It can be completely normal.

Honestly I don't think even a doctor can tell you. I had bleeding at 5 weeks which led to a scan. I had to wait another 2 weeks for a repeat scan when it turned out that everything was developing as expected.

I'm 9 weeks and have bled consistently from 7, two scans so far and baby appears fine.

No clots just lots of red blood and a little brown discharge.

I am so sorry you are going through this.

I think every miscarriage is different. I have had one at 6 weeks with only a light bleed, no cramping.

It is worrying that a normal pregnancy test is coming up negative, as this indicates your hcg is very very low.

I wish you the best of luck and hope the outcome is more optimistic. Nobody deserves to go through this.

Lots of people do bleed through pregnancy and come through the other side. I really hope this is what is happening in this case x

I bled through my jeans at 6 weeks ish, bright red blood, no clots, some crampy pain. One gyne who saw me at the hospital said she wouldn't have believed how much I'd lost if she hadn't seen it herself. No miscarriage but it went on like this until I was 5 months.

Thanks for all your comments - didn't bother going to the doctor. Did some at home tests which are all negative now so it's been another early mc.
