or wishful thinking on my part...
Am 35 wks
Baby measured 3 wks ahead leg length as well as 10 days ahead with head and stomach measurements
this was with really state of the art teaching hospital scanners.
Also m/w has said fundal height is a good wekk ahead
I've never measured ahead with my other two infact measured small.

DD was 2 wks early ds was 2 wks late
this one is a ds
I'm suffering so badly from insomnia the though of another 5-7 wks is horrific (safety of baby being more important of course)
I know they coem when they're cooked but... am just asking

Hi there, Im 36 weeks on first baby and ive measurd a few weeks ahead for ages now too,my babys head engaged 3 weeks ago and im hoping these are all good signs that hes coming early but like u said maybe just wishful thinking. Ive also lost a bit of weight,am wee-ing and poo-ing nonstop and feel like i have a period...do u have any of these signs?

sorry to say, with with DD1 I was fully engaged at about 35 wks was measuring 3wks ahead. She was born at 41wks at 8lb 8oz, and then there was the 20lb weight gain DS2 measured about 1 wks ahead, never really engaged beyond 1/5, but in the end was induced at 3wks, but he was already 8lb 3oz ........

Hey, i dont know why all the books and websites say baby shud come 2-4 wks after engaging cos like u just told us...im hearing all the time from mums whos babys were engaged for ages and they still went ontime or late. Still, i guess its good to have hope otherwise we'd never make it thru...lol
