It's been happening since last week where they will go 10minz apart or 5minz apart for less than an hour then just stop! It happens most days sometimes once sometimes twice. They never get any more painful. I'm almost 36 weeks so I know it's a little early for labour yet but they never last more than 1 hour and in my notes it says only to call the hospital when they are regular for more than 1 hour.

It's just the warm up session for the real thing. Think of your body going through a checklist and trying to get everything ready for the big day. Practice contractions are an important part of that. I'm 36 weeks pregnant too, so I understand what you're going through! Hang in there.

Google 'irritable uterus ' it will make a whole lot of sense. I have it really bad but it's less recognised in UK than States and Australia.

I had it very badly in my first pregnancy. To the point where I didn't realise I was in labour for quite a while(they always stayed for about 3/4 hours) good luck! I feel for you, because it is painful and irritating! But from my experience I dealt with labour well because I'd had so much practice!
