A show? Planned Section in 3 days!

Hi all. I'm 39+1 and due to baby's position have a section planned on Tuesday.
I've had cervical pains (mw thinks effacement) for over a week and at 5am had brown discharge that has continued all morning with dull period pains. Phoned delivery suite who say sounds like a show and to phone back if I start getting contractions.

Based on others' experiences, an I likely to get to Tuesday or does this look like labour and an emergency section?

That sounds like early labour. It's exactly how mine started! Are the period cramps coming and going? Is there any little twinges in your lower back at the same time?

Pains have pretty much gone, very light brown spotting, no back pains yet. How long after these symptoms were you in full blown labour Nikki? I had a feeling I wasn't going to reach my C Section date

It was immediately the cramps just got worse and worse and I went to hospital and I was 7cm

Eek right thanks. Don't think it's going to go that quick for me. Pretty much no pain now. Not likely I'll make it to Tuesday though I guess

I had my show at 21.00. Dd was born at 6.30 the following morning. I don't think you will make it until Tuesday. Best of luck 💐

How are things today?

Well the drama! Started getting contractions in the afternoon so came in to hospital, doctor scanned me and baby had gone head down. My BP was very high so plan was to induce and break my waters to speed things along and as they were getting ready to, my waters went on their own!! Had regular contractions most of the night and now they've stopped so waiting and waiting. So totally unprepared for this but just shows you babies will do their own thing!
