very thick brown mucus and stitch like pain?

Recently had a scare of bleeding and clots but had a scan and everything was completely fine, however this morning went to wipe and had (sorry to be graphic) very very thick mucus like you get when you have a cold, which was brown, no other bleeding so far but have a stitch like pain very veryyy low in my lower left abdomen, is this normal or a cause for concern? Xx

How far along are you? The brown indicates older blood, so possible that it's just the last of your bleed leaving. Can you phone your midwife or your labour ward & have a chat with someone?

Im 10 weeks today, no clots or anything just thick mucus and pain very low down, just wanted to see if anyone could tell me what was happening, I just want everything to be fine and run smoothly! X
