Hi All, is anyone experiencing the same or do you think I should be concerned:

I've had a pain free worry free pregnancy so far so having first pains at 30 weeks has me slightly concerned.

When the baby moves to certain positions, if i push gently on my belly it hurts (dull pain not super painful)

If I lie on my side to sleep, sometimes it hurts too...

Is this normal? just stretching or straining or is this not normal?

Thanks to all those who have been thru this before!!! FTM-to be here!

I had this, I think it's probably pretty normal, very achey tender belly, especially as I got near due date as everything was stretched to capacity so when DS turned it was very uncomfortable sometimes

I ended up with diastis recti though (separated abdominal muscles) because I'm very short and could almost feel them separating. That turned my stomach a bit.

If you're worried though speak to your MW. She won't think you're being dramatic or wasting her time.

Thank you Losgunna appreciate your reply!

I guess I just have no idea what's around the corner as I grow and grow and grow! ConfusedShockGrinCake
