Wine in soup - am I being stupid?

I am 25 weeks pregnant and I have just made a French onion soup for tea. It has 200ml white wine in. It will have cooked for over an hour before I eat it. Is it ok to eat? Am I worrying for no reason?! Will most of the alcohol have cooked off? Would you eat it?

Stop worrying. Eat it. :)

It's absolutely fine. Honestly don't give it a second thought.

Fine, enjoy the soup!

I would eat it and would probably also pour myself a small glass of wine to enjoy with it too at 25 weeks.

Obviously it's individual choice but I am personally comfortable with having a couple of units a week with a nice meal if I feel like it. Sadly heartburn puts me off most of the time.

It's fine. Cooking burns off the alcohol and leaves the flavour. I am 38 weeks (and have had the odd tipple) and regularly put a splash of red wine into sauces.

I'm not drinking any alcohol during pregnancy, but I'm not worried about eating food with alcohol in like this, it'll mostly have been cooked off (although I draw the line at my dads Christmas pudding because I've seen how much alcohol he gets into there...)

I also haven't drank a drop of alcohol. But wont worry about the the 3 tablespoons of baileys i put into my homemade cheesecake.

Made with Quark so have read it will be safe!

I also didn't worry about TGI fridays sesame seed chicken strips with jack Daniels sauce.
