I had brown discharge (sometimes pink) all the way through til the end of my first trimester- half way there now and baby and I are fine so far! Try not to worry too much

I am 8.5 weeks and keep having bleeds followed by brown discharge and baby is fine.

I contacted midwife who had me in for an early scan to check and paid for a private scan too (didn't want to wait 4 days for the NHS scan to check after the first bleed)

Midwife said if it continues I'll need scanning again next week. It's worrying but hopefully baby will continues doing well

I bled on and off for 5 months sometimes brown discharge type and a few times so much so it soaked through my jeans. Said baby is now 16 months old and asleep upstairs. They never found out why it happened but they did see a pooling of blood in my uterus that cleared in a few weeks? Good luck!

Thank you for your replies, iv started to have a small amount of bleeding now not enough to stain a pad just whenever i wipe with no pain not sure if its a bad or good sign, so hard not to worry but wanting to wait to the morning for the EPU to open to go up and get it checked
