Good morning all,
TMI warning!
so yesterday morning, I had some very light pink/red spotting with discharge when I was having a difficult bowel movement...It happened in the morning, stopped, then brown spotting later in the afternoon and started again when I had my next BM later that afternoon.

I saw my GP yesterday afternoon who checked my tummy, blood pressure, pulse, all fine. He has managed to book me in for a scan at the EPU tomorrow afternoon. Also gave me some lactulose to help my constipation problem.

Took that last night, and had some stomach pains and wind associated with the medicine getting things going.

A little light bleeding again last night before bed, but nothing when I woke up.

Then at about 10am this morning went to the toilet and there were some spots of blood on the panty liner, and lots of bright red blood when I wiped, a bit like the first or last day of a period...

Have called the hospital and they said there's nothing they can do but to wait and see at my scan tomorrow afternoon.

It's coming and going and I find myself going to the toilet every half and hour to check the situation out! I'm very worried that it's the beginning of a MC, but also aware that it might not be. I have no pain, felt queasy as normal this morning and had a headache...

The blood isn't streaming out, nor soaking a pad, and I havn't had any more spots on a liner, just when I wipe...There's a lot there, and I'm scared, but trying to stay positive.

I know if it's an MC there's nothing that can be done and I just have to let nature take it's course, but just wondered if anyone else has had a similar experience??

Oh, OP. I'm so so sorry. That's so sad. Wishing you all the very best. x

I'm so sorry OP. When this happened to me it was just heartbreaking. Second the recommendation of the miscarriage/pregnancy loss board on here; the very kind posters over there helped me through some dark days. Take care.

Hi.. i know this is a old post but it gave me assurance today wen i came looking for answers.
Im 11 weeks preg. Ive had 6 miscarriages and 1 daughter who is 6 years old and she was born premature at 23 weeks. So least to say its been hard.
Last night i had bright red blood and then this morning a clot 2inches long. I thought im gonna miscarry but i had no pains so stayed positive . Dropped my girl to school and went to my gp.. he said everything seems fine with my stats he tried to get me a scan at EPAU they said come after 3 days i thought no its too far
So i called my consultant who called me in straight away.. Scanned.. and there was my little one.. with a strong heartbeat.. which i heard it was the most soothing sound in the world to my ears..
First time ive experienced something like this and its my 8th pregnancy... so stay positive.. definitely get checked dont assume its the end.. all the best to anyone reading this... xxz
