Link between hair growth and sex of baby

This is just for fun as we're waiting until birth to find out the sex of our baby.

Using the nub theory most people have predicted a boy for me so this will be interesting as most old wives tales are pointing towards a girl, including this one!!

My leg hair has slowed down so much since being pregnant but I've noticed I've got more light fluffy vellus hair on my belly (I think I have anyway, might just be that I never look at my belly as much!!).

How was your hair growth effected during pregnancy and what did you have?

I don't know what I'm having but my leg hair is growing at super speed and my head hair is shedding like mad for the whole 13 weeks so far.

I thought I was having a girl. I was so sick I had headaches my leg hair stopped growing I had spots on my face!! Nub theory said boy, gender scan said boy, amnio said deffo a boy.

I've had two girls and wasn't hairy at all during pregnancy. I did have terrible heartburn which a midwife said meant the babies would have a lot of hair...they did!

I had no hair with my DS. None.

I'm having a boy and I have loads of hair! My belly is covered in a layer of downy hair, my leg hair grows faster and even the hair on my arms has gotten thicker.

This is interesting. I'm only 9 weeks and have the thickest coarsest hairs growing on my belly; I counted about 6 hairs last night. I wouldn't be surprised if its a boy. I'm normally not hairy at all. I have never even shaved my legs before.

My leg and eyebrow are growing incredibly slowly. Can't remember the last time I needed to shave my legs. But hair everywhere else is the same

Leg hair basically stopped growing for nine months, had a girl.

My body hair has always been sparse but was even less when I was preggo. Hair on my head tho...turned into a beautiful fast growing mane! And I had a girl

My hair grew longer than ever before, and I had a girl.

I didn't check legs etc. This was just the hair on the head.... :)

Was super hairy all five times. Four boys one girl.

I don't know what I'm having but to start with the hair on my legs grew a lot slower but my belly got really hairy.

I'm not sure whether I'm more hairy than before really as there's more on my belly but less on the legs. I don't think my head hair has changes but my eye lashes are definitely thinner!
