Hi Milly, I'm 6 weeks too and am currently on the sofa trying to stay awake 😴 I don't think I've made it past 9.30pm for the past 3 weeks. Bizarre isn't it!

Jojo13 · 28/11/2016 18:39

No one ever told me the first few weeks are the hardest with tiredness! I assumed it would be later on towards the end (which is tiring, don't get me wrong, but those first 10-12 weeks killed me both times round!)
Hopefully in a few weeks you will be much perkier! Happy pregnancy ladies x

NannyW · 28/11/2016 18:44

I’m nearly 17 weeks and until 14/15 weeks I was completely floored by 4pm. I work in a school and this was my limit, I tried to be home by then. I have been feeling a little bit better now but still needing to take it easier in the evening Grin

FuckingHellz · 28/11/2016 18:53

Yep totally normal! I was knackered in 1st and 3rd trimester. Is it your first?

I think it's mother natures way of preparing you for parenthood Grin

Your bloody brain never comes back either Confused

Congratulations on your pregnancy x

millyhopemum · 28/11/2016 19:09

It is my first yes, so any symptom is new to me and bizzare lol.
Enjoy your pregnancy ladies Smile

Fucking exhausted. Started feeling knackered pretty early, then morning sickness hit, it wakes me up to vomit and that combined with night shifts means I'm struggling! Though I have developed the napping skills of a toddler Grin

Holz657 · 28/11/2016 19:30

I'm the same!! 6 weeks and the last week or so I haven't made it past 8pm. Absolutely shattered xx

millyhopemum · 28/11/2016 19:40

i go exhausted but as soon as i lie down im wide awake lol. nightmare Confused

My first too, so yes, was pretty shocking! It has definitely got better though. I started napping too, at least 3 or 4 times a week.

lovelycats · 28/11/2016 19:46

Absolutely normal. I felt exhausted in first 10 or so weeks. Then had a little energy boost. Now 22 weeks and napping on many of my days off and still sleeping normally through the night. I'm comfortable with that, as it shows I obviously need it.

Elllicam · 28/11/2016 19:49

I'm 30 weeks and could literally sleep at any time (although I have 2 under 4 so don't really get naps).

Difficultyear2015 · 28/11/2016 19:55

Walking zombie here too

Ookmybanana · 28/11/2016 20:27

I'm so glad I read this. I thought I was being a drama llama! I'm 5 weeks and have been on holiday from work for the past week doing literally nothing. I'm dreading going back to work as I have a hefty commute. Woe is me!

catx1606 · 28/11/2016 20:42

Yep same thing here for me. I'm 27 weeks now but for the first 12-14 weeks, I was lucky to get past 9pm! No one told me that would happen lol

millyhopemum · 28/11/2016 20:52

I was told you get tired but i thought thats when you have a bump and carrying more weight, not in the first few weeks lol.
By sunday i feel like ive ran a marathon! lol
Why are we not warned of these things lol

halfbuffy · 28/11/2016 21:06

I'm 13 weeks but actually the last couple have been the most tiring...right when it should be getting better! I wasn't too tired until then!

Fingers crossed you all start to feel better soon :)

Holz657 · 28/11/2016 21:08

Milky, in the exact same! I'm sooo tired throughout the day then as soon as I get into bed I'm wide awake! Couldn't fall asleep for hours last night

Holz657 · 28/11/2016 21:09

Milly not milky haha Smile

millyhopemum · 28/11/2016 21:23

Exhausted. 30 weeks with a 16month old ds who is teething and poorly, and work. Resting doesn't happen.

Mumchatting · 28/11/2016 23:02

Ah yes the tiredness this time round is horrendous! I'm 33 weeks and have a 2.5 years old toddler too. Plus I'm a stay at home mum so I'm all day long busy looking after my son.
The first trimester was awful, nausea and tiredness non-stop. Napping every day was a must (luckily my son takes 2 hours nap every day!). I felt OK between around 14-26 weeks. Now in 3rd trimester and feeling knackered again! I could sleep all the time. .....

toomuchtimereadingthreads2016 · 29/11/2016 08:53

I was the same weeks 5-9... absolutely knackered by 8pm and fast asleep by 9:30! End of week 9/week 10 seems to have been a turning point for feeling better for sickness and exhaustion, but am still in bed before ten! Also have a 2.5 year old toddler so making even more tired! hugs xx

NeverAShadowOfDoubt · 29/11/2016 10:47

I was the same. I used my lunch hour to sleep in my car! In week 30 now and exhausted. Walking zombie indeed! Every time I sit down I call asleep. I'm signed off sick for other reasons and it's a good job as id be asleep at my desk!

NeverAShadowOfDoubt · 29/11/2016 10:47

*fall

Badgerbird · 29/11/2016 15:29
