I'm 35 weeks and over a few days last week my baby's movements were very faint and not noticeable unless I sat still and concentrated. It went on for 3 days and my midwife sent me for a non stress test which showed my baby was ok but his heart rate was dropping and at first they were worried but then decided it was because it was on his cord as it only dropped straight after a movement. Then he went back to being super lively for a few days! Now he's back to being sluggish and slow so today I had a scan and everything looks ok..... I have another scan next week and been told to go back for another non stress test if he doesn't move at all or his movements become less..... so any ideas?

I'd call in just to be on safe side, your doing the right thing by keeping check on him. Hopefully he's just having a lazy day.

Definitely call and seek advice as they may get you back in quicker to get checked out. Much better to be safe than sorry!

My DC did this and was fine but I was taken into hospital twice as his movements were quiet/stopped even with increased sugar/concentration etc.

Hope bump is ok and good luck Flowers

My son was very very very slow for a few days. I mentioned it to a nurse during a routine GD appointment and she sent me to triage just to get checked. He didn't move at all during the monitoring and the consultant was called and she scanned me and found out the cord was around his neck. I was kept in for an emcs. Please please get checked. Any change of movement regardless of how small or big should be checked out. Hope all is well Flowers
