Pain in back

Over the past week and a half, I've been getting increased braxton hicks! These aren't painful in themselves, I can feel my uterus contracting but it feels as though baby is being pushed onto something in my back. This back pain is excruciating for about 5 seconds and then it's gone but once I get another braxton hick it's back. Is this the case that my baby is being pushed onto something like my bladder or could it be something else, or is it normal to have braxton hicks pains in your back? I'm so confused I never suffered with braxton hicks when pregnant with my little girl? Doctor said baby is still free but very low down if that helps?

Thanks, I'm terrified this is back labour and I'm only 32+1 x
