heavy bleeding + clots at 9 weeks?

Last night I had a heavy bleed (through my pants and on to my bed a little bit) with big clots, woke up to brown blood and clots so the bleeding didn't continue I don't think, had a scan last week which showed my baby was fine but I'm worried sick as I've never had a baby before and these signs are pointing towards a MC, I had light brown/pink spotting before my last scan and it was fine, but it was nothing like this, can anybody help please :( X

Ring the midwives straightaway

It does sound like a cause for concern to be completely honest with you. Is there pain also?
Hope you are ok, have you spoken to anyone yet? Self refer to EPU or if bleeding gets worse I'd suggest A&E x

Everything's fine! They couldn't tell me where the blood had come from but their little heart was beating away :) fingers crossed everything goes smoothly from now on! X

Try not to worry my sister had this when she was pregnant and the bleeding was horrendous, she now has a happy healthy two year old!! Xxxx

I had the same, at 11 week 13 week and 15. Significant bleeds the second and 3rd loosing massive clots and soiling bedding etc. Baby always fine on scans, they said i had a sub chronic haemorrhage but couldnt explain why.

Im now 19 weeks and touch wood all is fine :)
