Help - daft but real question from a man...

I need some advice please.

I am extremely worried that I may be a Dad and that the Mum has not told me the truth.

The issue is, I did not actually have sex with her, we just dry humped with underwear on. She found out that she was pregnant after about five months, I have asked her on three occasions ans she swears blind that the child is not mine.

I know she was sexually active with someone around 4 weeks before the conception date, which by the way, is within 48 hours of the reverse calculator I have used. I just don't know if she had sex with someone around this date that I am not aware of.

The child is now 2 and I have not seen the Mum in 18 months although the worry is destroying me...

I have spoken to my a couple of close pals about this up here in Aberdeen, they tell me I am being stupid and to move on.

I know we only dry humped, I did not put my hand anywhere near her genitals although she did touch me, I really need so me peace of mind and other than a DNA test, I don't know how to move on.

I am sorry for how stupid this sounds but if anyone can offer any advice, I would be very grateful.

Thanks...

A wee worried man...

Biologically not your baby.

In reality, not your child either.

You need to find a way to let this go - seek help!

The lesson from all of this is always wear a condom.
Surely no one wears a condom when dry humping or oral sex? Of course there is a risk, but theres a risk with anything eg driving a car, walking into town...

I agree, the baby wont be yours. You would need to have penetrated that person for there to be any chance. Dry humping gives as much chance of pregnancy as oral sex ie none (unless you are Boris Becker)

The odds of the baby being yours are about as high as you being in Wembley stadium, someone sneezing at the completely opposite end, and you catching their cold. This is not your child.

I don't know, I think there is a lot more going on here than we realise - I don't think it's just the OP being uneducated or ignorant.

OP are you hoping the baby IS yours? Do you want to be a father? Or maybe it's the mother - are you maybe wanting to be in a relationship with her?

In any case it sounds like you are obsessing unhealthily over this when you must know there is 0% chance of you being the father. I would try to talk to someone in RL.

There's no way you're the babies father. Don't get me wrong, some people get pregnant easier than other but with underwear on, there's no way your sperm is going to find its way to her opening, track up to the uterus and fertilise an egg. I'd go as far as to say it's pretty impossible (and that's if you ejaculated - which you didn't do).

There was a woman on here the other day who had oral herpes from unprotected oral sex, think your find she will be going down the condom route in future.

Obviously not a requirement for dry humping, what my brain was actually thinking and my hands were typing didn't quite match up for some reason.

WellErrr · 25/11/2016 19:38

38 weeks from dry hump. I am unsure if she had other activity around the time

You can be sure. The resulting baby tells us that she did.

Sex education's really gone down the pan Grin

PacificDogwod · 25/11/2016 19:53

Clearly there is more going on here than a bit of uncertainty about the biological facts...

OP, has any of this been of help to you?

user1480030038 · 26/11/2016 18:33

It has, thank you all.

I know it seems a wee crazy but when someone has a bonnie baby nine months after, you do worry.
