Help!! Taken two clearblue tests one looks positive the other looks negative

Please help I took a clearblue test yesterday at first it looked negative and then up came a very faint positive line not sure if I'm being ridiculous or whether it is actually positive will put picture below, today I decided to take another one as I thought it was ridiculous that I was pregnant as I'm on the pill too! This was a clearblue digital it came up not pregnant however I then decided (being stupid) to open it and inside there was a strip with two lines on it, so starting to slightly panic that I might be! Making the boyfriend go and get a couple more to double check in the morning and later on this week, but just wanted people's opinions to you... does these look positive?

How long after did you see a faint line on the clear blue plus???
And never ever ever open up a digital test they all have another faint line on them.

Ask your boyfriend for first response or super drug early. I hate clear blue as I myself got a false positive on one

Around 10 mins after doing it and okay I will do, yes I've heard they are meant to be useless and the pink ones are meant to be better

The one with a cross on it is a clear positive. It's not even particularly faint.

Digital aren't as sensitive so a bit pointless to do them until you're a few days late at least.

You should never open up a digital as the lines don't mean anything! Your normal test is definitely positive. How many dpo are you? Digitals won't give a good result until your period is due

Thankyou ladies and I don't have a clue how many dpo I am as I've been on the pill and we haven't been trying started getting pains around a week/week and a half ago and missed a pill around 3 weeks ago so thought I'd take a test the boyfriend has picked up another one for me to take in the morning and I've sent him out again to go and get another one 😂

Well I am absuloutely gutted 😞 Taken another test this morning and it's a definite negative! So sad that I must have got a false positive and it made me get my hopes up, I officially had pregnancy tests!

That's not a false positive as long a it came up in 10 minutes? More likely a false negative this morning. What brand did you use this morning. I'd put money on you being up duffed (providing the positive was in the time limit).

It's almost impossible to get a false positive. Unless something is wrong with the test. It's highly possible to get false negatives tho. I would say it could possibly be a chemical pregnancy, but I don't think enough time has passed Between taking the two tests for that to happen. I had a chemical pregnancy, it took 4 days for a positive to turn to a negative.
Try testing again in a few days. But I would consider yourself not pregnant for now to avoid any upset/false hope.

Just to add too, that first test is not a negative. It's defo a positive. You can't get a false pregnancy hormone. I think the digital is far more sensitive and possibly hasn't picked up the hormone yet. So, defo test again in a few days!! But for now try not to think that you are pregnant, incase you're not. Nothing worse than building ur hopes up then comes crashing down when you don't get the result ur after. But something inside me is saying you must test again in a few days!

The second picture is a positive at this point in time. It looks like a very early positive just before period would be due.
It's the type of dip stick professionals use. With both my two I had day 12 (from ovulation) positives exactly like this one.

Wait 48 hours and test again at the same time of day. At this early stage an extra drink can dilute the urine enough to weaken a result. As PP said It's more likely than a false positive test.

Thankyou ladies! There is some hope still! I shall try again in a few days time and let you all know! I'm going to go and buy a different brand as the OH went and bought another clear blue and wanted to test with something different thankyou everyone x

Ladies I need your help again I went to Superdrug today to buy two of their own tests taken one a few minutes ago and this is the result not sure whether it's just my eyes but does there look as if there is two lines there or is it just me?

I'd say if that test looks like that in 10 mins it's a dud. Try not to flood the stick. Pee in a cup and dip in. That way you'll get a nice clean dip.
