Pregnant after Ectopic

OMG i can not beleive it . Im 11 weeks + 2 days post op and just got a VERY DARK BFP . I just cant beleive it.

One night of passion & one split condom = me pregnant.

DP an i are so happy. Scared but very happy. Im going to make an appt with my GP tomorrow to organise blood tests and the 6 week scan.

congratulations! I got pg three months after an ectopic - it was incredibly nerve-wracking waiting for the 6 week scan but all was fine. Wishing you the very best of luck

Thanks ladies. DP and i are scared but we both feel more positive about this pregnancy. With the EP we both knew that something was wrong from day 1. Maybe it was intuition.

Going of my LMP i am 4+1 weeks today and getting mild twinges. Is this normal?

Im getting them in my left side (side with tube) and they feel like stinging pains. There only mild and last for about 5-10 secs and then go. Im also getting them at the top of my thigh.

There on my right side too (tube removed)but ive not noticed them as much.

Ive had a few twinges in the middle. Kind of like shooting pains.

Is this all normal? I probably wouldnt notice them if it wasnt for my EP. Has anyone else had this? DP says its stretching pains but would my uterus be stretching this early?

Hi, I think you get more sensitive after having an ectopic. understandably. when I had a slight bleed at 5/6 weeks and some pelvic pain, I was convinced it was another ectopic (had previously had a tube removed). turned out to be implantation bleeding and everything was fine. I'd keep an eye on it, and if it gets worse i'd get an EPU appt. have you requested an EPU appt anyway? they should be able to scan you at 5/6 weeks and check location of the pregnancy and put your mind at ease. if they take ages to refer you, go via A&E if you have more pain/bleeding and insist.

Hi, ive got my dr's appt on monday and im going to ask him ti refer me to the EPU then. Im not in bad pain just a few twinges now and then. If they do get worse or i sart to bleed ill be straight to A&E.

Sorry if this is TMI but ive got a creamy coloured vaginal discharge. Its not itchy. Just wondering is vaginal discharge normal in early pregnancy?

Thanks lulumama. As soon as ive had my scan ill let you know. I feel alot more positive about this pregnancy. With the EP the HPT line way VERY faint this time its VERY dark. I had no symptoms last time either. This time ive got sore boobs, feeling more tired and gone off my food. Im just hoping and praying that everything will be ok this time. I'll definatly keep you updated.
