Just curious. If you've had morning sickness, how far into your pregnancy were you when it began?

8 weeks or so for me. Was only actually sick once but felt nauseous all day for first 4 months or so.
Wait till the heartburn kicks in, that's a killer.....

Ivor · 14/02/2007 18:37

I only got morning sickness the once and that was about a week before I gave birth, but from what I've been told you can get it at any time but more usual during the first 12 weeks, hope that helps chuck

Ivor · 14/02/2007 18:38

Oh yes, second the heartburn thing, buy large tubs of tums

Miaou · 14/02/2007 18:41

I've got m/s and heartburn. I am Not Amused

Mine started at about 6 weeks this time (am 17w now). But this isn't my first, previous ones didn't start this early.

MKG · 14/02/2007 21:55

I haven't had morning sickness with either of my pregnancies. Bad heartburn witht he first but almost nothing with this one.

Mumpbump · 14/02/2007 22:04

Starting to get the odd wave of very slight nausea - had next to none with ds as well...

saltire · 14/02/2007 22:06

With DS2 my morning sickness started within a week of me getting pregnant, that's how i knew. I had it really bad with DS1, but didn't actually find out i was pregnant until i was 12 weeks, so thought i had something seriously wrong with me

peanuthead · 14/02/2007 23:03

6 weeks exactly - and still counting at 12 + 5....

princesslolly · 15/02/2007 03:21

I got morning sickness at about 9 weeks and it lasted until I was 11 weeks.

macneil · 15/02/2007 03:49

About eight weeks. Threw up constantly, right up to the day of delivery.

mumfor1standfinaltime · 15/02/2007 05:30

I didn't have any sickness at all, or heartburn.
Lucky I suppose!

meowmix · 15/02/2007 05:58

I'm about 3 weeks I'd guess and so very nauseous. Last time I was sick for 35 weeks out of 37.

Katy44 · 15/02/2007 08:10

I had it from 6 weeks until about week 12. It then returned at about week 16. I now have indigestion but that's nowhere near as bad as the ms was!

DetentionGrrrl · 15/02/2007 08:19

i had it the 1st time from around 7 wks, and had it for maybe 6wks. I was lucky though- i was sick as soon as i got up, then i was fine for the rest of the day, could eat breakfast etc no problem.

Eaglebird · 15/02/2007 15:47

I only found out I'm pg a couple of days ago, so I'm only 4 weeks & a bit, but I felt sick this morning, which was a shock
I felt ok when I got up. Went to the bathroom & got washed etc then, just as I was about to make my breakfast, I felt yuk.
Managed to eat a couple of bananas & drink some hot water with lemon, and felt a bit better.
Is it true that morning sickness is a good sign? Hope so. I had a m/c last year and felt sick only a couple of times, but this time I've been feeling queasy really early on.
