i am in wk 35 and for the past 36/48 hours i have had quite sore pains in the "groin" area but runnning into my right leg and down it, its not like sciatica but feels more in the bones, if anyone understands? is it the pelvis creaking?!!
2nd preg and i dont remember this 1st time. its quite uncomfortable and the pain can be quite sharp, anyone have similar feelings and are these braxton hicks?

It could be SPD (symphsis pubis dysfunction) but if it is, it's late on and shouldn't get more serious. And it may not be (I'm a bit obsessed with SPD ).

Doesn't sound like any BH I ever had.

Too bad mears is off for a little while.

If it feels "in the bones" it just doesn't sound like braxont hicks, not to me anyway. Could it be that pubic synthesis thing a lot of mumsnetters have suffered from in pregnancy?

But to answer the original question in the title thread, yes they can be VERY sore apparently. My friend was on max. doses of paracetamol throughout her 3rd trimester; the contractions caused her huge discomfort.

What motherinferior said.

My BH in my first pregnancy hurt like hell - they were in effect minor contractions. But still doesn't sound like them to me.
