not bothering her, swollen feet need checking,

bundle · 14/02/2007 16:45

trace, it's more worrying if you have swollen face but do get your bp checked. putting your feet up should help

trace2 · 14/02/2007 16:45

phone the labour ward and ask them to bleep the community midwife or just ask them for advice. sound worried...

lynniep · 14/02/2007 16:58

Don't fret too much, but definately have it checked out. Thats what the midwifes job is -you arent bothering her!

I've had swollen hands and feet since about 24 weeks - my feet and ankles are just hideous blobs so I can't get them into anything but loosely tied trainers, and my hands swollen and really sore, especially just after I've woken up as I've not moved them for hours.

However I'm checked every week - my BP is fine, my baby is fine, and theres nothing to indicate anything else is wrong other than I've got an unfortunate case of water retention. Or fat foot as I call it ;-)

see my site for the evidence! here

I had this a lot, everytime I was swollen I had to put a sample to my GP.
