Cramps at 4 weeks pregnant

I'm 4 weeks pregnant and had really sore cramps yesterday for about 3 hours. This morning I have a slight brown discharge and it makes me feel like I'm just about to start bleeding. I'm really worried I'm just about to have a miscarriage.

I don't want to give you false hope - chemical pregnancies are sadly quite common and severe cramps with bleeding doesn't sound great. Has your period due date passed?

Yes it's passed by 1 week. My husband worried last night and we went to NHS 24 and we were just told to wait, try not to think k about it to mucheck and rest. No actual blood yet.
