I'm thinking of booking a flight about 7 weeks before my EDD. It'll be short haul - about 2 1/2 hours. Will they let me on the plane if I have a note from my doctor? Checked the easyjet site on this but they don't say anything. Thanks

You need to check with the airline-some will stop you boarding unless you have a letter- some won't let you fly at all. Insurance might also be a problem.

Absolutely check with the airline. I think BA will take you up to 36 weeks, but some stop at 32 or even 28. And you'll need a note from your doc to verify how far along you are.

Thanks, have decided to go a month earlier and pay a bit more after all
