Maternity Wear

I’ve already posted this in Style and Beauty but haven’t had any replies yet and was hoping to do some online ordering tonight Grin thought that here might give me more replies!

I am looking for a bit of advice about where to look for maternity wear.I have just sent a whole load of stuff back from asos after being disappointed with everything i’ve ordered expect one red jumper.

I was really looking for some petite (so shorter in the leg) black skinny jeans, under or over bump although currently wearing under the bump denim jeans and coping well with them. The pair I got from asos just felt like they were going to fall down though.

I am also looking for some dresses to wear over the festive season that I can grow into that are not ‘wrap’ dresses as I just cannot make myself like the way they look! Something that isn’t too short or that I can wear with black tights is preferable.

I am only 15 weeks but can hardly fit into my current dresses due to them feeling too tight across my bust and I do have a noticeable bump already.

I am 5’4, size 12, pale with dark hair. I also have large boobs, 32E/F and growing!

TIA

One warning on the skinny jeans front - first pregnancy I bought some about as far along as you are now, they fitted for all of about a week, when my thighs suddenly expanded.
Nonetheless, they were useful post-baby before the bump completely vanished :D

Thanks for all the other replies, lots to look into. Good advice savagehk about feeding although I imagine i’ll be buying long sleeved things at the moment to see me through colder months. Baby is due in May and I hope to breastfeed so will probably want cooler things for then...I imagine breastfeeding makes you pretty warm!? Thanks also for the skinny jeans warning Grin I feel being short that I don’t suit many other jean styles but may have to branch out if my thighs explode Grin . Pregnancy is a beautiful time!!!

New website to browse JohnLapsley thank you Smile

Don't underestimate layering - short sleeved or vest 'maternity' tops then knitted wrap tops for over, for instance. I was a lot warmer than normal when pregnant last time than normal as well.

MrsJW15 I am by Westfield Stratford City, but hopefully they both do!
Also, John Lewis Oxford Street have a Seraphine section on the 4th floor.

Topshop maternity jeans are amazing and you can get them in shorter leg. Xx

WellI made it to H&M over the weekend and managed some black skinnies, bought a size up incase my thighs do get bigger, they are so stretchy anyway!
And whoever suggested Zolando thank you! Parcel arrived today and I am keeping two dresses that actually looked alright! Really easy to order with them and returns looks pretty foolproof too! Will def use them again Grin
