Can anyone please help I'm 35 weeks pregnant and I'm getting quite bad shooting pains downstairs sorry TMI and a lot of think discharge anyone know what is happening to me??? Confused

Hello there! Sounds exactly what I had, my midwife told me with a knowing smile it's known as "lightning crutch" (apt description as it did indeed feel like lightning) I also had the discharge thing. It's such a pleasant experience isn't it!!! If you get concerned obviously contact your midwife or health professional but as soon as I read your post it all came back to me! Hope you sail through the rest and best wishes.

Forgot to add, she said it's totally harmless and they think it's because your cervix is moving about with the pressure.
