Just interested to know people's thoughts, we don't really want to know if that makes any sense Smile

The first pic is from 12 weeks and the rest are 20.

It's funny because all my symptoms point towards girl, although I know they're all old wives tales so probably mean bugger all. I think I know deep down it's a boy, no idea why (probably Mumsnet!)

I feel like I'm assuming it's a boy so that if it's not I'm not disappointed (that sounds awful doesn't it Blush) and I think it's working as now I'm imagining a boy more. I'd still pick a girl if I could though.

The way I've tried to explain it is that we'd love three children and if they were all girls I'd probably think it would have been nice to have a boy whereas if we had three boys I'd probably want to keep going until I had a girl!!

I think when it all comes down to it and it's actually here I won't care at all!!

Sorry if I seem like the most evil Mum to be.

Idreamldpeace - you'll have to keep me posted on how you're doing as our due dates are very close Smile For some reason I'm not scared about the pooing, I probably should be Grin I'm mostly scared about the pain, cutting, ripping, bleeding etc!!!

I think, deep down, everyone has a preference over whether they want a boy or a girl. There's no shame in that and it doesn't make you evil. From what I gather though you'll love your baby no matter what bits they're born with. Love at first sight for sure Smile

Thanks IDreamOfPeace :) I feel much more reassured now. xx

Just out of interest does the nub theory trump the skull theory? I seem to get girl based on the skull but boy on the nub.

There are people who are really good with the nub theory, especially if it's a boy so probably yes. But it's still not very reliable to be honest.

I'd post on ingender if I were you, it's a website more or less dedicated to the nub theory so there's quite a few people on there who "know what they're talking about" Smile

strongmilknosugar · 24/11/2016 21:11

I don't dare post on ingender as I don't want to know for sure and they sound very accurate!! Grin

Thank you :) all the old wives tales are saying girl but I'd imagine the nub theory is much more reliable and you all seem very sure it's a boy! :)
