Hi, I am wondering if anyone has got any recommendations for nice party dresses that can accommodate a bump?! Doesn't necessarily need to be maternity.

I will be 25-26 weeks at Christmas time.

TIA :)

I'm in the same boat - but plus size. Next have some nice things

I've just ordered 2 from asos, both were less than £35 which I thought was good as I'm sure I'll get a few wears out of them :)

(Maternity ones)

ASOS

I found a really nice maxi dress on Amazon. Search for miusol.
It's long to the floor and skims over my bump nicely.
For another party I found one in Dorothy Perkins.

I've just bought this ready for my Christmas party.

Not too expensive as I begrudge spending a fortune on maternity clothes. It's nice and stretchy, so I think it would accommodate any sized bump.

I've ordered a couple from asos maternity. They've got some good options on there and not v expensive

I had a black knee-length tank top dress from top shop that I wore with heels an a missoni poncho for fancy occasions, but also with a jumper or cardigan and boots for work. It wasn't particularly festive, but I loved that dress.

ASOS - I ordered loads for a wedding, picked what I want and sent the rest back dead easy no quibble :)

This is lovely, looks like it would fit a 25 week bump (certainly would have on me at that stage) and I like how the zip can move so you can make the neckline more daring or not.

I got a really nice burgandy lace dress from dorthory perkins that was only around 22 quid.

puglife15 · 18/11/2016 20:23

And you could breastfeed in it!

I'm pretty much at the same stage as you, I'm 23 weeks now and just ordered a dead cheap wrap style midi dress off an eBay shop and it's blummin gorgeous on. I never normally wear tighter clothes but with a bump I feel better in something that shows the bump not hides it. I'll try and post a pic...

I didn't wanna spend a lot knowing I'll wear it once and not my usual style. I hope you find the perfect dress that makes you feel good Smile

Not a dress S such but i ended up in one of the indian sari shops when pregnant the first time.

We were off to a xmas wedding and i wanted some colour and sparkle as all the maternity wear was bland and looked as if you wanted to blend into the background. I cant remember what theycallec it but it was trousers and a tunic top.

NeverNic · 19/11/2016 13:42

Asos maternity - definitely. Check out the sales section too.

Avon - shalwar kameez!

Another vote for ASOS maternity. They've got loads of lovely dresses at the moment.
