Did your DC2 come earlier or later than DC1?

I'm getting to the end now (38+1) and went over with DD1 (40+5). Everyone around me is convinced baby is coming any day but I'm trying not to get excited/ think too much or I'll drive myself mad!

Intrigued to know stories of DC2 to pass the time please! Did they come earlier or later and was the second labour really quicker?

Boobs sore today, a sign I wonder? Haha prob not!

12 days late with both, maybe not what you want to read.

Both 10 days late, dd came after induction and labour was about 6 hours although I was only aware for the final 2 hours and ds about was an hour and a half but only contractions for 45 mins and born after 6 minutes in hospital.

Ds1 10 days late, ds2 6 days late (after a sweep) and a horrendous delivery. Sorry, but he ws 10lb 6oz. Spent hours pushing so had vaccum, it didn't work so they got him with the forceps. If that didnt work i was to have a section. 14 people in the room when i give birth too, nice!!

6 days late then 10 then 12+induced. Sorry!

Dd1 37+3 ds 38+2
Labour with my 1st was 100x better than with my second dc. Of all 4, ds' (dc2) has been the worst labour yet.

Oh

DS1 (now 5) - 12 days late, induced, from first contraction to birth was 15 hours 10 mins (contractions were 3 mins apart from the start), active labour was 5 hours 47 mins. Recovery was bloody awful.

DS2 (8 weeks) - 10 days late, not induced, from first contraction to birth was 8 hours 45 mins (contractions were 4 mins apart from the start), active labour was 6 hours 55 mins. Recovery has been fine!

So active labour officially was longer second time round but overall the whole thing was much quicker.

Also DS1 was 7lb 5oz and DS2 was 9lb 6oz but second labour was far, far better.

My first was born at 38+2 and I'm currently pregnant at 39+5 and not a sign of impending labour!!

DD1 was 40+3 DS2 was 41 weeks

Baby boy one 10 days late.
Baby girl two 5 days late.
Baby boy three 10 days late.

DC1: born + 3 days
DC2: born due date

DC1: Five days early, 21 hours of labour
DC2: Five days late, 12 hours of labour
DC3: Five days early, 5 hours of labour

Those days waiting for DC2 felt like an eternity.

First 40 + 8 and second induced at 40 + 12. But second was much easier and quicker pushing stage.

DC 1 39+4 7lb 4oz
DC 2 42+1 9lb 10oz 😱
DC 3 40+3 7lb 6oz

Mine didn't come quicker than my first but the longer it went the bigger they got. Have to say that 2nd DC who was very late and very big was the easiest most natural fastest pain free delivery of them all. The other two were horrible
