I found out yesterday morning that I am pregnant after MMC in June.

I am so scared the same thing is going to happen again. I cant even believe that my pregnancy test isn't lying to me.

Has anyone gone through this? I need something to cheer me up.

Well I hope I my story will cheer you up...MMC last nov. Made it to 12 weeks but found out at scan baby had no heartbeat. It's heartbreaking and I'm so sorry for your loss.
Fell pregnant 9 weeks later and am now sat here I'm hospital 40+8 waiting for my LO to arrive :) breezed through this pregnancy with no troubles at all.
Take a deep breath and enjoy the moment as much as you can!
Xx

Yes. I miscarried in September, my Dd was born the following November. That baby is 18 next week Smile

Wishing you all the best of luck FlowersFlowers

I've been where you are too. MMC last Dec at 11 weeks after seeing heartbeat at 7 weeks. It was devastating.
I'm now 32w. Physically everything has gone perfectly fine this time even though I've been nervous for most of it. We didn't celebrate getting the positive test cos it was too nervewracking so I know exactly how are you feeling. Try to relax and enjoy the little milestones like getting to 12w, 14w (when I was told risk of miscarriage goes way down), scan at 20w, first kicks etc. Every week brings you a step closer to your LO

Yes MMC here, pregnant a few months later. It's hard as of course you worry more and I did have some early bleeding so was convinced it was going to be another MC. But nearly nine years later i have a bouncy 8.5, and 5 year old too, It's so common to miscarry and then go on to have a successful pregnancy so try not to worry. Wishing you all the best with it.

I'm pregnant again after an mmc, due very soon.

I'm sorry for your loss. Flowers congratulations on your btf Cake

Abstardust · 10/11/2016 18:26

I had mmc last November, I now have a 12 day old DS. I can understand being scared of it happening again, I was especially when had a bleed this pregnancy but it can work out fine

Cantchooseaname · 10/11/2016 18:30

Yes, miscarried in March, pregnant again in Aug. Currently breastfeeding 6mo old.
However, I was a basket case throughout pregnancy. Each time a symptom came/ went I was convinced everything was going wrong. I remember sitting in the shower crying my heart out because I realised I wasn't exhausted after work.
I had some councelling in the end- it helped.
The 9 months will fly, be kind to yourself.

Miscarried at 9 weeks last year, pregnant again a few weeks later and all was well. I actually gave birth a year to the day that I found out I was pregnant the first time.

We were really nervous and paid for private scan at 8 weeks for reassurance. It was a massive relief and I remember shaking so hard I couldn't do my fly back up!

Also have 3 more friends with babies they conceived within 2 months of miscarriage. All should be well.

GrainOfSalt · 10/11/2016 19:31

Yes. I had a MMC about 8 years ago with my first pregnancy. Second pregnancy 6 year old DS is still not in bed. Flowers

SumAndSubstance · 11/11/2016 10:56

A friend of mine had a MMC. She now has 3 lovely DC.

foxychox · 11/11/2016 11:04

Congratulations on your news :) Don't be frightened or stressed, take a day at a time. I had 2 MMC (4MC in total) and now have 2 fab DC. And don't feel that you have to tell anyone until you are ready.

TheLegendOfBeans · 11/11/2016 11:07

I had the same thing happen to me in Aug.

There is a decent chance I may be pg now but am too scared to test as I don't want to know this early to invest in weeks of "getting to know it" to have it all snatched away again.

Silly, I know.

If you want a hand hold I am here, holding your hand. Perhaps more for my benefit than yours! Xxx

Helbelle75 · 11/11/2016 12:47

Yep, miscarried in May this year at 10.5 weeks. I'm now 18 weeks pregnant and everything is progressing well.
It's been hard not to worry, but I said to my DH that it was only fair that we treated this pregnancy the same as the last one, so have tried to be chilled out for the sake of bump.
Congratulations!

Ml1091 · 11/11/2016 13:39

Thank you so much everyone. I am feeling much more positive.

Fingers crossed this time will be okay for me.

Good luck to you ladies in the same position

xx

Congratulations and good luck! I've had 2 mmc with a dd in between. Last mmc in June this yr, now 16 wks pregnant and all looks ok so far so I am keeping my fingers crossed for both of us Flowers

Stopyourhavering · 11/11/2016 13:52

2 mc at 9 weeks(6 months apart), fell pregnant again 8 months later and now have 3 dcs, 22,20 and 17
It's devastating and I will never forget the 2 I lost, but there is every chance you will be perfectly OK - never did find out what caused mine
Be kind to yourself and enjoy your pregnancy
