Hi all, I've just found out I am pregnant and am yet to have my doctors appointment, I'm still showing really positive lines on my test also, not sure if that is something to be worried about.

But I just wondered if being FREEZING Was a normal side effect this early on? I'm got two jumpers, a blanket over me, the heating on full and I'm still cold to the bone? Is this normal? Thanks

Should say 'really faint lines' I'm blaming my cold hands Smile

I've experienced being freezing cold in all 6 of my pregnancies, even spring and summer I'd be shivering 😕 haven't a clue why?! LOL. Congratulations to you. 😊

Thank you! I'm literally shivering. I've googled it and read it could be hyperthyroidism - which is worrying Sad x

Step away from GOOGLE!

I've felt pretty cold over the last few days (5+2) but it is cold and we were away somewhere warm til last weekend so it might just be that it's cold.

My early pregnancy signs where feeling cold, like i had a fever at times.
I would be freezing in bed, then kicking duvet off 10 mins later. Lasted a couple of weeks....

Now its just bloody freezing anyway haha

Arbrighton you're around the same time as me, congratulations! Have you and any other symptoms? It's my first and I have no idea what's normal etc

Also my first. Some cramps last week and a bit of nausea.

Saw midwife to book in yesterday- they seem fairly flexible in my area

Reading through the book of handheld notes stuff now. Maybe a BAD idea

I've been having mild cramps too, like internal pinches. It's so hard to not google everything isn't it! Smile
