Hello ladies, my question for you lovely lot is do my tests look positive and can you get a false positive me and my partner have been trying for a baby for four years and nothing has ever happened... I was due on the 25th this month and I didn't come on since then I've done so many clear blue tests which have all came up with a faint blue line... They say on the packet I'm pregnant however I am not convinced all my girlfriends keep telling me it's positive but because I've never been pregnant before I'm not sure.. Please help ladies my mind is all over the place xxx

That's positive
Congratulations

PandaInTheMorning · 05/11/2016 18:02

I would say positive OP!

Even a faint line is positive. So maybe wait a few days and test again.

I dont know anything about false positives unfortunately.

FloodMud · 05/11/2016 18:04

False positives are very rare I think - because you've got to have the hormone present to get the lines. Perhaps get some pound shop cheapies for reassurance?

Shannonreanne123 · 05/11/2016 18:05

I did this one too but pretty late during the day it states just two lines = pregancy
This ones a little harder too see...
Thank you so much for your time ladies it really means a lot I'm going crazy here xxxx

Have you tried a digital test? I found those lines made me go crazy! Best of luck!! I can see the feint positive line though 😊

Shannonreanne123 · 05/11/2016 18:13

Yes Sarah I have and it says not pregnant then I do the clear blue plus and clear blue early and they say I am... Did you have this problem too? Xxxx

Have you tried a pink line test like first response or superdrug early tests? The lines come up much clearer usually. I still think it's positive though. Wishing you all the best

Shannonreanne123 · 05/11/2016 18:35

Thank you for your time! Erm no not just yet I'll get one in the morning! There just so faint... Thank you :) xxxxx

Congratulations! I think you're pregnant lol!

Desmondo2016 · 05/11/2016 18:56

Oh and if you have a Morrison's nearby, their own brand cheap ones are sensitive!

MissClarke86 · 05/11/2016 19:01

Get a first response, they're much easier to see when it's the early days. Take a few minutes to come up though!

Shannonreanne123 · 05/11/2016 19:02

I really do hope so! Thank you xxxx

Shannonreanne123 · 05/11/2016 19:04

KitKat1985 · 05/11/2016 19:07

I'd say you're pregnant. You could tTry again tomorrow morning maybe with FMU if you want a clearer result. x

Shannonreanne123 · 05/11/2016 19:11

😬😬😬😬😀I'll try what's a fmu? XXXX

KitKat1985 · 05/11/2016 19:12

Sorry I mean try with first morning urine as it's usually more concentrated so you can get clearer results with pregnancy tests.

Shannonreanne123 · 05/11/2016 19:24

Oh I see haha! 🙄 Oops xxxxx

In your first picture of the clearblue tests, I used the same ones as yours and the lines on mine look exactly the same as yours but every other test I've taken has been negative, and I've taken a lot of tests and spent the same amount as you have OP (if not more!) first response early result tests seem to be more reliable as clearblue are renown for evaporation lines, and even false positives as I've read online and experienced. Try pink dye tests :)
