34 weeks with DC3, saw my midwife today for first time in 6 weeks, measuring 38 weeks and midwife thinks its excess fluid. Going into hospital tomorrow or a scan and monitoring.

Anyone have/had this?! Had a GTT done and all fine, 20 week scan showed no apparent problem with the baby, so unsure why it could be?

Am I likely to need inducing early?

Any anecdotes/advice would be great, thank you!Smile

I'm late back - with somethings you were saying I was going to ask they were sure nit breech, as that's also what I had & some of what you describe so similar!
It used to feel as if she was trying to head butt her way out through the top of my stomach Envy (sick, not envy!).
Also they said big & she was 8 lbs so not huge.

headbutting out of my stomach is a good description, it makes me feel ill sometimes it's that forceful!

The more I think about it the more appealing a c section is, a planned day not over Xmas so I won't miss out on Xmas with my other two! Will see what happens at my next scan.

They said yesterday the baby looks to be 6lbs so on track for another 9lb+, if still breech they wouldn't let me try a normal delivery they said, and to bring honest I don't think I would want to try, if it's likely to end up an EMCS anyway!
