Hi all!

This is my first pregnancy (17+4), and in lots of different places, I am getting information that I may feel my baby as a 'fluttering'.

As this is my first baby, I know it is sometimes harder to distinguish 'fluttering' and 'digestive pops'. I'm unsure sure i've felt baby, it was in my abdomen, and it was slightly different to that 'wind' feeling I have!

Would be great to hear your stories of first time you felt yours!

TIA! x

A slight bubbling in lower stomach

That's exactly how I'd describe my first movements Smile I can't remember when exactly - maybe around 15 weeks. By my 20 week scan I was feeling more obvious kicks / pokes / rolling.

18 weeks and there was no mistaking it - it was a kick!

I felt nothing whatsoever until 22 weeks and even then it was so subtle I wasn't 100% sure what it was. Then one time I was on my back on bed and felt a distinctive "tap tap" - I knew it was her immediately and the moment was truly magical Smile

I started to feel mine at 17 weeks last week, pretty irregular but im 18+4 now and certain there is almost a pattern. I can feel it move early on in the morning, usually around 5am it starts kicking... and it moves loads when im in the bath! usually kicks after I've eaten too!!

Cant wait for it to be big enough /strong enough for my husband to feel!

I felt baby move around 17-18 weeks too. By week 20 the movement was getting stronger. At week 21 my husband went to my mid-wife appointment with me and heard baby's heart beat with me, and then that evening felt the baby kick numerous times! At 23 weeks now and baby is getting strong. I am wondering what it will be like in another 4 months time!

I never really noticed any flutters with DS but didn't know what I was feeling for! I felt my first definite kick (albeit weak compared to what was to come) at 18 weeksSmile
