Is this positive?

Hi guys. I'm new here.
Been trying for three years and just had first ever cycle of ivf. Today is the end of my 2ww and the day my clinic said I should POAS. So using their cartridge test it's a BFN - 1st pic. (Although several hours later there's a faint pink second line -2nd pic). But I also did a Clear Blue test at the same time and got a faint blue line. Hubby says it's me being desperate but I can see it. Can I have your opinions please?
The literature the clinic gave me after my egg transfer says if I haven't had a bleed (which I haven't) but get BFN on day 15(today) to test again on day 18 (3 days time).

Not sure about the first two but the clear blue looks positive to me!

I can definitely see a line on the Clear Blue so I would test again in 3 days as the clinic suggested

It could either be a late implantation and the line will get darker as the days go on, or the test is picking up a little bit of signal from a chemical PG that failed to implant and the line will disappear altogether.

FX for you that the line gets darker. Loong days waiting, I know.

The first test looks like it has gone wrong, the ink shouldn't run like that so maybe a faulty test? I'd ignore that one anyway.

Clear blue looks positive the other test looks faulty. Did it come up within the specified time with first morning wee? Try in three days definitely.

Thanks for all your opinions. Both tests were taken at the same time with the same sample (first pee of the morning) and photos taken within the time for each test. Still no AF which is good, although keep getting the cramps which confuses me and fills me with doubt (all symptoms of early pregnancy are mimicked by the progesterone gel I am on so I have no idea what's happening! Lol). I've ordered a few First Response tests on Amazon and they'll arrive tomorrow, and will buy some cheapies from Asda tonight too. I'll keep you posted.

I was surprised how strong the cramps were in early pregnancy.

Is the clear blue the early clear blue test that can detect from 6 days before period is due? If it is then I tested with one of those after confusing results on other tests and got a bfp (and was pregnant).
It looks positive to me.

BFP ! So happy for you. The cramps, period pains and feeling of being wet is completely normal but will probably mean you don't relax for a single second for the next two months :( !

Took a pic of this mornings test. it's just an Asda cheapie so will test tomorrow with a FRER one. Doesn't look good though

It's still very early, and there's no disputing the clear blue one with the line imo.

I took a lot of asda cheapie ones when I was pregnant with dc2. I knew I was, I was certain, yet the tests took four days to show it up.

Hi, I've been getting positives with the clearblue tests I've taken, faint like yours, but I keep thinking they're faint positives even though they've shown up within 10 minutes. With other brands they've been negative. Can I ask your opinion?

I can't remember which brand I used (17 years ago now!) it had a window which if you were pregnant would have a pink dot in it
I was so disappointed there was no pink dot
Until I held it up to the light, it was so feint, but there was a dot
And I was pregnant, so I think it's a positive result, maybe some tests are more sensitive than others, but the blue lines are there x

Another negative this morning. We are both devastated. Clinic have said stop all drugs now too. No idea why it's not worked as everything looked so promising. So very sad.

Don't blame yourself if it is failed. Things can happen for a multitude of reasons. For every 3 days that AF doesn't show do another FRER test. I'm keeping my FX for you. X

The clinic said that the faint line may have been the residual hormone from the embryo implanting and me briefly being pregnant within my two week wait, especially as it was a sensitive test, but the fact that three other tests say negative (two of which were taken 2 and 3 days after the date set to test and one of those being a sensitive FRER test), it's pretty conclusive.

I've been on a progesterone pessery since egg transfer (and would've stayed on it until 12th week of pregnancy). I was told that when I stop taking it tonight, AF should appear in a day or two. It's likely the drugs were holding it off. It's so confusing being on progesterone as every tiny potential symptom of pregnancy is mimicked by it. The cramps, moods, sore/heavy/tingly boobs, tiredness, nausea, getting up for a pee in the small hours...
We have a chat with our consultant tomorrow. We have one frozen embryo from this cycle, so I'm keen to know how long I have to wait before having another go. At 37 years old the clock's ticking.
