Sounds promising crafty! Mine was a little back to back at my last appointment but I'm sure it's turned since then. Things change so quickly.
Hopefully won't be too long for you Gabby.
I'm 39+5 today and still no signs...

Gabby786 · 28/10/2016 21:37

Her movements the past two nights have been crazy. I hope this means she's fighting her way out haha

Totally thought yesterday things were gonna get started, crazy movements too. Actually felt like he was gonna climb out down there at one point! Felt really really low too, but feels higher again.

Maybe this weekend!!

Gabby786 · 28/10/2016 22:58

Baby is out. Half of the head was out in the carpark as they sent me back for not being in established labour. 2 min after arriving home again the waters broke. Whoopsies. Glad I didnt care too much for a birth plan as this was all a little irregular

INeedABeer · 29/10/2016 06:58

Wow congrats hungry!!

Squtternutbosch · 29/10/2016 07:05

Congrats hungry - all sounds very dramatic! Did you have a boy or girl? Flowers

I am 39+5 and have come down with an absolutely horrific cold. I feel like I've been hit by a bus. Can't breathe properly, can't sleep, have a raging temperature and no voice. And to top it off, no symptoms of anything occurring whatsoever on the baby evac front.

Feeling a wee bit sorry for myself, I must confess!

hungrywalrus · 29/10/2016 07:37

It's a cute little boy. Can't stop staring at him. He had a good old poo in the amniotic fluid so have had to spend the night with him on the ward just as a precaution. At least one of my fellow ward inmates snores so am looking forward to going home!

Hope your baby makes an appearance soon squatter and that you're not feeling too rough then.

Squtternutbosch · 29/10/2016 16:32

Ah, I hope you've made it home today with your lovely boy. I'm having a boy too- so excited to meet him.

Enjoy your first few weeks!

Dlah · 29/10/2016 18:06

Congrats hungry!

Mildly jealous! Lol now 40+3 . . Currently doing a curry - let's hope some spice might smoke her out! Grin

MiniLop · 30/10/2016 09:50

I'm 40 weeks today - come on baby! Still no signs of imminent labour from me...

hungrywalrus · 30/10/2016 11:32

We were discharged yesterday. All well. Absolute bliss to be at home in the peace and quiet.

Gabby786 · 30/10/2016 17:08

Think I had a tiny bit of my mucous plug come this evening, trying to not get too worked up about it... anything yet Gabby?

Gabby786 · 01/11/2016 00:09

I hope it means something for you babe! And no nothing. I have a sweep on Thursday but I'm preparing myself I'm gonna end up being induced.

Ladies! I have the key!!

So in Sunday around 3.30, just about to go for dinner, table reserved, pulled up in car park, and having had silence most of day with partner - no reason other than I was 40+4 and the tea he made me in morning didn't taste like it had sugar in - so I sobbed.

Then my friend told me she was being induced on Halloween 2 weeks early -- so I sobbed some more!

Finally I decided Disney was needed to lift me up - except no one told me the long over waited 'up' starts in 10 minutes of complete emotional heartbreak and I sobbed some more!

Anyway, pulled up for dinner and it all just came out in the car "I can't do this anymore, I need her out, I can't cope, I feel so stupid' my OH did his best to console me and reassure and finally we go inside - placed our food orders - by 4pm - BOOM! Contractions started and continued until 4.32pm on Halloween when my little girl was born! Absolutely shocked, stunned, amazed. 24 hours to change your life! But clearly she was listening well to my sobs lol

INeedABeer · 01/11/2016 02:17

Haha Dlah, I've been trying laughter but perhaps crying was the key!! Congrats! Wine

Gabby, suddenly awake at 2am and more plug come out. Cramping and roasting hot - like when you first get your period. Really need to try to get back to sleep but it's really hard to switch of when you think things are happening!

Gabby786 · 01/11/2016 02:53

Omg I know. Every little thing I think is a sign and my brain just can't seem to switch off at night. Why doesn't she want to come out????

INeedABeer · 01/11/2016 03:13

Have you tried relaxation scripts/cds? Has been helping me get to sleep most nights and helps your mind focus on something other than what's in your mind. Not working for me now though when I think I need it most. Grin

hungrywalrus · 01/11/2016 07:55

Guess some of these relaxation things and mild pain relief aids are good to conserve your strength for when you really need it later. Hope everyone's births go well!

INeedABeer · 01/11/2016 07:59

I was getting proper period type cramps, eventually fell back asleep and they've gone. Arghhhhh!!!
