Flu jab in late pregnancy

Looking for advice regarding Flu jab.
At my last midwife appointment 2weeks ago she told me to book in for it, when I left I did that and my appointment is Saturday morning I'll be 38+1 and didn't actually think anything about it till seeing a post on another group saying someone getting the injection that late is too late to give baby immunity?! Is this true? I will call my midwife in the morning but hoping my mind will be put at rest tonight.

I'm not too sure as can't remember from when I was pregnant!
I do remember there being something about a cut off point?!

Hopefully someone comes along soon with better advice! Flowers

As far as I know the flu jab isn't for baby at all, it's to protect you as a pregnant woman :) so timing is irrelevant really

As PP said, for you rather than baby. I went for it (I'm 38w too) as even the thought of having flu after PG whilst looking after a tiny baby isn't worth thinking about
