Period or implant bleed?

Dtd just over a week ago and we are definitely not ttc however the condom failed.

Got the MAP and took it about 12 hours later. Felt crap afterwards - aches across my back and uterus etc, am assuming just normal side effects of the tablet.

And so to yesterday, a full week before AF is due, and it has arrived. Seems quite light, but could obviously increase flow, and I'll keep an eye, but with what happened before hand I'm nervous.

How different is an implantation bleed to a period.

Hi Nap. My first implantation bleed was very light pink bleeding for just one day, barely enough for a sanitary pad tbh. It can vary from person to person though. Good luck.

Mine was just one tiny bleed at about 10 dpo. Didn't get the same lead up as a period. Just came and went.

It's very very common to get 'breakthrough bleeding' after taking emergency contraception. It will probably say that somewhere on the leaflet that came with it.
