hi there-not ure what is happening but have had pains over my bump for a day or so, and a sharp stabbing pain down and to the side about an hour ago- and have just got up and there is a wet patch. is it just usual? had a fluid loss a little while ago and it was nothing but felt a bit silly in the delivery suite! any help....

how many weeks are you and what does the fluid smell like? if it is sweet, it is likely to be your waters, could be a hindwater leak....

ar you having BH too ?

lulumama · 09/02/2007 17:56

pop a pad in your knickers and wear it for a bit, an hour or so, and if you are still leaking , i would call labour ward. if it is a hindwater leak, it will reseal and replenish.

I'd go in. SOunds like you need reassurance, even if it's just to listen to the heartbeat. Good luck, I bet it's nothing.

i agree with aloha, esp if movement has slowed. listen, better to feel a bit silly but know everything is ok x
