Roger Marwood?

Put this on the childbirth board, but just wanted to try here as well. Has anyone ever been delivered by Roger Marwood and if so what did you think of him? Clinically I've heard he's fab, but that, erm, his bedside manner might not be the sweetest in the world....

Just to add, I think he's mainly based at C+W in London.

He is the Maestro of deliveries. I cannot recommend him enough. He is far more perceptive and sensitive to you than you will realise until you give birth. Don't be put off by his demeanor in consultations, he is no nonsense and his expertise mean he doesn't have to waste time kissing ass (as it were).

I was with Roger Marwood. I totally agree with Poodlepusher; he's a bit scary at first, but he really is the sweetest man and you will only see that side of him until you give birth. I had some minor complications and I was so glad that I had chosen Marwood to be my consultant.

Have a friend who has seen him for gynae and she recommended him wholeheartedly but told me he only takes one woman a month so get in quick! The bedside manner thing put me off to be honest - I prefer someone a bit more approachable as I don't have particular health issues. But he certainly sounds highly recommended. There is another thread about private consultants at C&W somewhere down this board and he crops up- good reports there too I recall. Have a look for it.

PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU HEARD, AS I HAVE A LOT MORE TO SAY THAN A BAD BEDSIDE MANNER ABOUT HIM. HE IS AN EVIL MONSTER.
