I went for a scan yesterday just to make sure that everything was ok after two m/c last year. Everything with baby is fine, really strong heartbeat so really happy about that.

While I was there I was tested for a possible internal infection as I have been getting a bit of discomfort around my cervix. This was completely unexpected as I thought this was normal at this stage. But now I am getting a bit worried about it all. They have told me to phone up tomorrow afternoon (sat) to get the results back as it cannot wait till monday. Is there something I don't know about?

Can anyone help.

Just noticed your unanswered thread. Sorry you are worried. Don't know the answer and I guess that is why no one else has responded. Best of luck tomorrow x

if you have an infection, you might well need some rest and antibiotics....fingers crossedxx

All tests back clear. Took the hospital ages. After telling me it was imperative I got the results back on Saturday. I called saturday left a message on the answer machine 6 hours later was told the computers where down so they didn't know the results and would call me back when they knew. It was the longest days of my life.

Monday 15.00 hrs ( and many grey hairs later) was told everything was clear. phew!
